A Prayer for Our Times

The doors of the house where the disciples had met were locked” (John 20:19)

Ever present God,
be with us in our isolation,
be close to us in our distancing,
be healing in our sickness,
be light in our darkness,
be wisdom in our confusion,
be all that is familiar when all is unfamiliar
that when the doors reopen:

we may with the zeal of Pentecost,
inhabit our communities,
and speak of your goodness
to an emerging world.
For Jesus’ sake.

Sadly, as a result of Coronavirus, there are no regular services or meetings at the present time as our church buildings are closed for the time being.  We will continue to post Sermons each week and News Updates of things that are happening in other ways.  Visit our Service Updates for news and information about online and broadcast services in our and other Church Communities and on radio and TV.  There is a regular Province-wide Eucharist on-line each week at 11am.  We have a page of Home Worship Resources which you might find helpful. When the situation changes we look forward to welcoming you.  Meantime, keep safe and our prayers are with you and those you love.
